What is Berkeley Global Internships?

• Berkeley Global Internships Programs are travel-study programs that allow you to earn academic credit while gaining practical internship experience from anywhere in the world.
• Berkeley Global Internships Programs courses are listed as UC Berkeley courses. You will earn Berkeley credit, and programs are open to students of any major, any UC, and any visiting university.
• By participating in a virtual or in-person Global Internships program abroad, you will satisfy the L&S International Studies breadth requirement. Select in-person international programs may also satisfy the Historical Studies breadth requirement. Domestic program locations, unfortunately, do not meet this requirement.
